<p>You would have to ask the colleges. Most specifically ask for recommendations from teachers in core academic classes (math, English, foreign language, science, history) that taught you in your junior or senior year.</p>
<p>It will depend on the colleges you apply to. Some are very specific in who can write rec. letters as Klaz413 said. They normally want your junior or senior teachers to write rec. letters though, I think.</p>
<p>The best bet is to go with teachers you had junior year. However, what you can do is have that teacher write a supplemental letter of rec, assuming that your colleges permit it. (some schools don’t, Stanford for example)</p>
