<p>if your applying to a college via the common app...does that mean you have to use the common app's rec form or can you use the school's own recommendation form from their website?</p>

<p>You should use the Common App form. Usually (and that’s an important word) when the colleges have their own form, that’s for their own application, so if you used the Common App form but used the school’s teacher rec form, it’s like mixing up two applications.</p>
