Letters of Recommendation

I have to fill out the envelopes for teacher, and I just wanted to make sure I was doing it right...

So, do you send the letters to the college's admissions office? And do I make the return address to myself using my address or my teacher using the school's address? Oh, and do I need to specify anywhere on the envelope that it's my letter of recommendation?

Thank you in advance!

You might want to check to make sure you're actually supposed to fill them out. My school's policy was that they had to fill them out because they had to use their special envelopes with the school logo on them, otherwise they wouldn't mail them.

I already checked-- I do have to fill them out. My teacher won't write the letter if I don't. It must be "stamped and addressed with the university's proper address."

Bumping this thread...I need to know as well...my school requires that we give teachers the envelopes complete w/ addresses and stamps.

Use your school's guidance office as the return address (at least that's how it's done here). Definitely not your address, you don't want recommendations coming back to your house.

Thank you :)
