I moved to a new high school in my junior year. Is it possible for me to get both of my teacher recommendations from my old high school? Or do I need to get atleast 1 rec from teachers at my new school.

I think you’ll be OK with getting teacher recommendations from your new school.
But don’t quote me on it.
Maybe it’d be best to check with the colleges that you plan to apply to.

I think you misunderstood my question. I was hoping to get both my letters from my old school. Is this possible?

I think it would really strengthen your application if you got recommendations from both your new and your old school.

However, if you think that your teacher recommendations would be stronger from your old school, then I would definitely have both of them from your old school.

Above all, the strongest recommendations are the best route. If that means two recommendations from your old school… go for it.
