<p>My son has a teacher who offered to write him a recommendation for UT. We know that A&M has a form that is supposed to be included with any letters, does UT have such a form? If so, could someone point me to the web site that describes the protocol? We have looked, but we just found the address mentioned.</p>

<p>Well, i’m not sure if he truly needs them, unless he’s not in the top 10%, then they’d only help him, he does however need one for Plan 2 if he plans on applying for it…</p>
<p>He’s not in top 10%, but has good test scores, so he’s applying on the outside-chance he might squeeze in.</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure there is not a special form that is to be submitted with the letter or recommendation. I would include a really good optional Essay C if not in the top 10%.</p>
<p>I just sent them one with my transcript when I applied.</p>
<p>I tried looking for one too last year but the closest I got to was this:
Prospective Students–>International Students–>Download the Letter of Recommendation and other forms in PDF format</p>
<p>But this is for graduate students, so I ended up just sealing my rec letters in envelopes and sending them with all my other documents. Oh and I’m Intl, so top 10% didn’t apply to me, meaning those rec letters must have worked their magic/been approved :-D</p>
