<p>i was also waitlisted (3.7 gpa, 1520 SATs, captain of 2 varsity teams) and i'm wondering just how many people are on the waitlist because it seems like quite a few.</p>

<p>i got some packet re-welcoming me to bc..i got in ea and im in Rhode Island..good luck to those still waiting</p>
<p>still no letter!! dahh so far my school has one girl rejected, one waitlisted, and then the rest of us still waiting.. the waitlist this year is going to be huge</p>

<p>Yes! I got the Discovery Weekend invite. I'm really really hoping it means what it sounds like. It does say "for admitted students," so I think it's an in! Wow I'm so excited!</p>
<p>I don't want to burst any bubbles, but i'm not so sure about the whole overqualified people getting rejected idea. I was accepted and offered the honors college with a 1580/800/790/790, 3.9 gpa and 10 AP classes. In all honesty I would probably consider myself overqualified, but they still let me in.</p>

<p>now I have to decide among boston college, boston university (with scholarship), university of va, william and mary, and tufts. Accepted to all so far but tufts. Funny thing is, i've never even been to boston.</p>
