congrats!! ...i agree with bacchanalian, i don't think that overqualification would result in rejections.. it really isn't all about grades and test scores, as bc stresses enough. apparently, when they make a decision, every part of the application is weighted equally.

accepted, honors program, 1600, 790, 780, 740, 1/403

I CANT TAKE THE WAITING!

Congrats to all those admitted! Still here in Rhode Island anxiously awaiting this letter. About 7 students at my school applied and 3 have been rejected, the rest of us havent heard anything.

I think a lot of letters were mailed out today "Holy Thursday" so that the majority of the students will receive them before Easter Sunday. Although it does confuse me that all of the rejections were not made at one time, seeing that they do not need to go through the Financial Aid Office.
The Boston College Admissions process does not seem to be following a pattern of any sort. I just hope we all hear soon, this is killing me.

Good luck everyone

Hey, roygbiv, I'm from Washington State and I just received my re-admit packet. If they sent the re-admit packets w/ the RD letters then maybe yours will come soon. Good luck!

how do you know if you got into the honors program? I haven't taken the time to read the packet yet, should it be in the cover letter?

For EA, th packet received by Honors Program admits was a booklet and on the front it says "Welcome to the Honors Progrm at Boston College." I also received a letter from the CAS Honors Program and one from CAS itself. I don't know if it's different for RD, but I don't think you should have to read too far to figure it out...

Anyone from CA heard yet?
just biding my time...

Still nothing today in Los Angeles.

-Ender

i don't think they're doing it by regions/location because a lot of peoplef from my school heard back on seperate days, and i'm still waiting.

Same here.
