Letters sent out march 17~!

no BC for me either.. i'm going to follow my dream and go to school in NYC - Barnard college

Still waiting on financial aid, so I don't know if BC is a definite yet..

im most definetly going... bc's been my dream school since forever

Crazy- I'm trying to decide between BC and Trinity (and having a really hard time). Can you tell me more about what makes you love BC so much? I know it's about what's a 'match' for someone, but I always like to hear what has drawn others to a school.

missariella- i dont know much about trinity but i will gladly tell you why i love bc so much! bc is perfect for me in so many ways. i love how its right out of boston so while i can feel that i have a small college community, i can also get right into the heart of one of the best cities in a short amount of time. also, i dont know if you've visited the campus but it is absolutley gorgeous. i think 9000 undergrads is the perfect size, not to big, not to small. lastly, career-wise i know that bc would help me achieve anything. i've met so many people who went to bc and are now incredibly successful. it's liberal arts curriculum provides so many majors but the core curriculum that you have to guide you really helps people like me who are going in undecided!

I was pretty shocked after looking over most of this thread

The Sat scores are much higher than is reported for BC. Just is crazy!

Do you guys think this year will be even more competitive than last? Or less? Or the same?

Sometimes schools get a little "easier" after a very competitve year...sometimes it just keeps getting more competitive. I dunno, what do you guys think?

I think I'm an average BC applicant (high 1300s, top 5% of class, good ecs etc). I reallyy want to go to BC. It looks near impossible though..

It will be more competitive, more and more qualified people are applying to college. The amount of EA app's BC got this year scared them because they thought they wouldnt be able to read all the apps. Last year average SAT was 1380, i wouldnt be surprised if it passed the 1400 mark this year...

Absolutely more competitive. BC applications jumped 12% this year from last.
