Hey I have a question... you know that Financial Aid "status check" that they have? Do you think that kids who got rejected still have that website updated? Mine's still up, and that's the only thing that makes me think I haven't been rejected yet. I live in NY and didn't get a letter yet, so maybe that means I'm not in this batch. Good luck though!!

good question chrisso, mines still up too..i hope it means what you think.. good luck to you and everyone :)

whats the url to check my financial aid status?

BC hasnt processed my FAFSA yet, i hope that doesnt mean they gave up on me, I'm calling the students services tommorrow ;[

frass : http://www.bc.edu/finaidapp

maybe it's a very good thing that we haven't received anything. i remember in the EA/ED days, rejections typically came two days before acceptances. so let's keep our fingers crossed...

i just checked my financial aid status, what day does it say that they received your forms? because i sent mine out at the end of february and they said that they recieved it March 17, but that's weird cuz they mailed their letters out the 17th. what date does it say for you guys?

mine says march 12. i found that very odd too.

mine was in mid feb. I think its just the date that they downloaded your info from the FAFSA site.

Mine says Feb. 19th... crosses fingers Oh man, that was a teaser, I hope I'm not getting myself too excited lol.

Los Angeles. Obviously no one will hear today, but I have a feeling most of us will hear tomorrow. Anyone else hear?

Mine says 3/04/05. They've been requesting a TON of fin. aid info from me (even those forms that are not required by the office unless asked for)... hope that's a good sign.

i could be wrong but there was alot of talk of the significance of the check ones financial aid status site during ED and i believe that it was established that the page wasnt indicative of either acceptance or rejection. I think there were people who had stuff checked near the sending date and stuff who in the end were deffered...i could be wrong tho, and that was for early as well.

Besides FAFSA and CSS, there are 3 other forms that are being "requested". I'm not sending them though. I already know I wont get any Financial Aid so it's not worth it. I'm probably not even gonna get in.

When my dad had called the financial aid office about a week ago they said they were going to be determining the financial aid packets on march 17th and then sending out letters of acceptance on march 22nd, so that might be the reason for that march 17th date.

Yeah again dont get down on what i said...things likely are different this time around in regular decsison. In reality none of us really know what the dates and the fact that you can access the page means. Dont get down Chrisso620 or anyone!

Good luck to all!!!!

They've been requesting forms in mid-March, which were under "do not send unless requested by office" --- can I take this as a good sign?

I know for some schools, an arbitrary number of financial aid applications get set aside for "audit," meaning that in a certian number of randomly selected cases, they ask for more material for further review, and these get a "closer look" by the financial aid office. This could be what is happening in your case, but who knows?

has anyone found out their decision. seeing how it has been 4 days since they have sent some of them out?

got mine today..rejected
