this thread is making me depressed. :( haha...

So are we thinking that tomorrow will still be just rejections? When is it finally safe to hear!?

-Ender

This is the BC board.

this is so sad

Well said, tothemax.
I know I should stay away....

So no news is good news then?

"BC screwed up."

With that attitude I'm glad BC did not accept you.

Hey, go easy. I'm sure getting rejected/waitlisted does not feel good. When someone has worked hard for a goal it's natural to feel upset if it doesn't go the way they hope.
CC can be a nice place to vent and give/receive anonymous support. Daria didn't say anything rude about those who were accepted.
No need to chastize another for their understandable reaction.
It's getting down to the super stressful wire and I'm sure everyone's tensions are running high (I know mine are) - let's all try to be considerate of and there for each other.

I heard from someone who has a connection in BC admissions that acceptances of being sent on on Holy Thursday, so the "good news" arrives for Easter. I think this is one of those subtle Catholic messages, ironic isn't it?

Maybe, except some RD acceptances have already gone out-"acceptance letter date" thread.

No mail in NJ, but I did get accepted to Villanova today........

Mail just came, I accosted our post lady again-she fears me. Nada from BC. This is fairly torturous.

Congrats on Nova tribegirl!

i didnt get anything today either :( this is death

someone from my school got rejected yesterday though

I got in EA, but today they sent me another acceptance package. They must have sent those out with the RD acceptances. I live in MA,so it only takes a day for mail from BC, so I bet most of you guys will be getting your acceptances tomorrow.

I'm really hoping that this is a good thing (not getting a letter yet). We'll just have to wait and see.

when do you think int'l ppl will get it, sometime next week?

no letter. i'm absolutely petrified

Oh yeah and the arrival of "good news" on Easter is kind of hard to imagine, because the mail doesn't get delivered on Sunday, lol.

I had no clue Boston College was this competitive. I applied thinking it would be one of my safeties if I didn't get into any Ivies or Georgetown. I haven't heard anything yet so I guess that's a good thing but seeing some of the waitlisted/rejected people's stats really surprises me.
