Just had interview. It went well. When we were chatting at the end I asked if he knew when letters would be sent out. He replied the second week of April.

the Princeton website says the first week of April.

I know. I asked him if the letters would be sent out then, and he said no.

Last year it was April 1st. I can't imagine it would be more than a couple of days later this year.

On that note, is it actuially true that a "big thick letter" mean accpetance and a thin one means rejection? Or could both letters be thin?

So there's no online decision? We just have to wait until the mailman comes?

No online for Princeton only thick US Priority for US residents and usually DHL for internationals. They mail acceptances on March 31st, so if you live in NYC or Jersey you find out the next day.

Does anyone know if acceptances/rejections are thick/thin envelopes?

Acceptances come in a large white priority mail envelope about 1/2 inch thick. Rejection, deferral and waitlist come in a regular small envelope.

Should be the same for Early Decision I think. I got my deferral in a simple bussiness size envelope.

Princeton will be wise to send out its decisions earlier than it states.
