<p>I did. It said "you will probably be admitted to Rice". I'm like "uh... I kind of already got admitted" =)</p>

<p>I'm early. I think emails went out to everyone who got invited to Vision 2008, but they meant to send them only to the regular applicants who got invited to it. Not sure, though..</p>

<p>Did they send this letter out to eveyone that has accepted a vision weeend invitation bscause I received the letter and was really excited!!!!???!!!</p>
<p>I did accept my Vision weekend invitation, Owlie, and I got that same email.</p>
<p>@ gatnom, I don't think that any top university would send out email to everyone saying that they're likely to get in. Best case scenario is that those who got them are accepted, unless they screw up badly, and worst case scenario is that everyone got one, which is probably not the case. Let's hope it's the first. :D</p>

<p>I got the email too. I was skeptical at first, but they wouldn't send something like that and then reject us! I was invited to the vision weekend, but I haven't even RSVPed.</p>

<p>Still, I wish it was official... I thought I was going to wet myself when I was reading it. :p</p>
<p>I asked an admissions officer about it and it's true that if you got invited to Vision and you're RD, one of the admission officers thinks you have a great shot at getting in. They still have to present your app to the committee and the adcoms will have to formally accept you, but if you got invited to Vision and got this email, that's very good news for you :)</p>
