Letters?

Anyone heard yet?

No news so far from upstate NY...

D got an acceptance today in Northern New England.

I got accepted but they it was very brief compared to other schools and no word on financial aid or anything.

DD was waitlisted very politely!! She doesn't care cause she got into her first choice Ithaca!! good luck and a big CONGRATS to all accepted

Yes got acceptance letter today as well! Was quite brief with no other info. Like school quite a bit.

Does anyone know when we'll hear back with financial aid. I doubt I'm coming, but might as well see if I get anything.

Daughter received a very generous financial aid packet it is very tempting!!!

Wait? She got one today or it came with it? Elaborate.

Accepted! Heard yesterday

dank08 she got accepted awhile ago and recently recieved her financial aid award

how recently?

I just called admissions, apparently they had a lot of problems with Long Island, NY. So she told me to call from school, and she'll fax my decision. So anyone from LI should probably do the same.

I just received my Financial Aid. I was very shocked at how much they gave me, considering Clark gave me nothing.

I understand the girls school and boys school came to gether to form Hobart and William Smith. How does this work? Are they completely separate or do they live in common areas? Do they share classes and so on? Is there someone who can elaborate? Thank you!

Are you going dank08? We're trying to figure out a good time to visit. They gave more financial aid than Providence College so we're taking an look. I have been hearing a lot of great comments about HWS lately

when did you get your financial/merit aid info?

The schools are essentially one school. The only difference is sports teams (they use their individual names) and some customs and traditions. Otherwise, everything and everyone is combined.

I am still not sure, I need to visit HWS. They gave me 20k in grants alone, plus a work study and loans. Providence gave me 1000 plus some loans. So unless I can convince PC to give me more money I'm not going there.

we are visiting during vacation week for the day. HWS gave a lot more money than PC with us too.
