letters

^ Me too :p

Wow, so many OOS.

Rejected and from Norcal. Oh well.

accepted!! yay! completely unexpected. and financial aid was really, really good. my EFC is 0, and they basically covered the cost of attendance without the use of loans.

but now, i have to choose between pomona and uchicago o_0 oh boy. now i have to sit tight and wait for chicago’s aid and make my decision.

whedongirl, im pretty sure we aren’t going to receive anythin over the weekend. if we do, in fact, get an e-mail, im pretty sure it’ll be before wednesday.

D got her big envelope today, it made her smile. The FA is not much, but our EFC is very high.

WAITLISTED. Heartbroken :(

I really want to appeal.

I did get accepted to CMC tho. But I loveeee Pomona soo much more. sooo sad.

Just wondering if anyone who received their letter received it from a PO Box - because im waiting for my letter, but i go to boarding school so they’re usually pretty bad with mail. And people who live at home near me relieved their letters before me. AT the same time i already know i got into Skidmore (through email), and my friend got his letter today, but i did not. So im not sure whats up - cause im not sure how PO boxes work.

sigh…i got waitlisted. does anyone know how waiting list works? do you have to write extra essays? and what’s the chance you will be accepted if youre on the waiting list? i’m super depressed i feel like crying and i think i will. it was my dream school :(

for brucemck2, I’m in north DFW, if that helps

I sincerely wish I could give my acceptance to someone else because I have the aching feeling I won’t be able to go.

did your acceptances come via fedex or ups?

I got mine yesterday 3/28 (dated 3/26) in the mail and got rejected. My first rejection but I did care so much about it since they only accept 390 out of 6000 so… It didn’t really matter. Better yet I got two big envelopes from Wellesley and BU at the same time.

By the way I live in Boston.

AHHH I got y acceptance letter yesterday. I’m so excited, I really hope I get to go! I was so surprised, I didn’t expect any letter this early.
If it helps anyone, I’m in NY. I hope everyone waiting hears soon and with good news!

nopee not yet!! im still praying for good news tho! i wish they just posted it online. it’d be fair considering mail takes longer to deliver overseas.

Pomona regretted to inform me that I was rejected :(

I wasn’t really expecting an acceptance though… I missed the interview deadline, and I had a couple of other odds stacked against me.

got my rejection today in NY :(

Flat out rejected…that hurts a lot :frowning: :frowning: Came with a waitlist from Wellesley which was just the cherry on top :frowning: At least Grinnell believes in me…

reeeeeejecteddd

Rejected. Sucks…I thought I had at least a waitlist down. Oh well. Time for six rejections in the next two days, and then make UChicago official!

waitlisted…it kinda burns but I was preparing myself for a rejection

I live in Hawaii…does anyone know how long it takes for mail to get from CA to HI? I’m kind of worried now that everyone seems to be getting letters…

I’m in Hawaii too sushi. I haven’t received anything either =/ I’m fearing a rejection =[
