i don't know if this should go on the admissions forum or high school life, but here goes:
colleges mainly focus on a person's junior year GPA, sernior year courses, and a bit on freshman and sophomore year performance + GPA. i'm wondering if it's better to take a level 2 elective sophomore year and fulfill a (stupid) "business and career elective" requirement or take a level 1 elective that year and boost your GPA. OR would it be better to take that required elective senior year, and not affect your GPA with a level 2 class. the downside would be that your senior schedule would look less rigorous.
i took my level 2 elective soph year, so i guess it's too late for me. (wish i found cc earlier!) i'm just wondering if colleges really care about elective classes. i'm taking an AP elective senior year, if that helps.

im planning on taking a level 2 elective senior year but its "Journalism and Media" and I plan on being a journalist, so i dont think it will look too bad. so in response, i hope it doesnt look bad (it'd be along with AP English, AP Calc, AP Physics B, AP Government &Politics and Faith in the Media(Religion-required)
