Level of Difficulty

How hard is the level of difficulty for people on a pre-med track? Like are the classes you need to take (i.e. orgo, bio, etc) difficult? Im curious as to what the average grade for those classes would be…

The level of difficulty for students on a pre-med track is basically the same as the level of difficulty for pharmacy students, being that we take many of the same courses.

Average grades in pretty much all classes are Cs, because professors curve grades so that the median grade in the class distribution is a C.

is there a pre-pharm track at new bruswick?

There isn’t a specific pre-pharm track at New Brunswick. However, if you want to take the same courses that Pharmacy majors do, you could always search up the EMSOP pre-professional curriculum and pick a major that has similar requirements.

I come from a public school in NJ that sends a ton of kids to RU every year, and they all me to avoid Expos and Orgo like the plague.

For Pre-Med, you cannot find a way to opt out of Orgo, and I’m not sure about Expos

what is expos?

Expos is short for Expository Writing. It’s a writing class that all freshmen are required to take unless you placement test out of it/use AP Lang or Lit credits.

oh good to know thank you!
