Reed is considered more difficult academically. Did you get to visit either/both? They have very different vibes.
You need to visit. They are both very good schools but do have a different vibe. My daughter visited both and decided that Lewis & Clark would be a much better fit for her. Visiting the campus can really help you decide.
Yes, very different schools; each are very fine academically. The student bodies are very different but there are very bright kids at both.
