Lewis&Clark vs MSU?

Help!I have to make a decision in this week. Can you help me choose from L&C and MSU?considering their academics, which is better?BTW,their costs are nearly same with FA

What is MSU? Michigan State University? Montana State University? Some other MSU? At this point, perhaps you should consider the reasons you applied to the schools you applied to. If you are comparing Lewis & Clark (a school with around 2,000 students) to a school with a significantly larger student body, presumably at this point you have a preference and know what the trade-offs are. If you don’t have a preference at this stage in the process, that’s a problem.

Edited to add: So I see from your other posts that you are an international student. In that case, if you are unfamiliar with the United States, you might feel more comfortable at a smaller, more intimate school. But even as an international student, you should be able to discern a difference between a small liberal arts college such as Lewis & Clark and larger state universities. The academics at all these schools will be fine, with some better than others depending on what you want to study.

THX!I am sorry for my type.MSU=Michigan State University. If LACs are much better for undergraduate students?

Are LACs better for undergrads? Depends on the school. I went to a big state university as a shy 18-year-old (35 years ago!) and had no trouble finding my way. Classes bigger, some TAs teaching classes: I experienced all of that, but still found a group of friends and was very involved. Something to consider as an international student is that there will likely be more international students at a larger school (just because there’s more of every kind of student!). You will get more personal attention at a small liberal arts college. Take a look at the website for both colleges and see what kind of groups there are that might appeal to you; that will help you imagine yourself fitting in at either place. The course offerings may not be as broad or deep. Portland, home to Lewis & Clark, is one of my favorite U.S. cities. Don’t know much about East Lansing, but these places are very different in terms of climate and other factors (which you can research online if you can’t visit). Both of these schools are excellent.
