So, here's my predicament:

Lewis & Clark College has offered me their best scholarship, full tuition, leaving me with ~$10,000 left to pay for room and board. While steep, that is certainly not unreasonable, and I have some miscellaneous scholarships from some community businesses to help offset that.

Washington & Lee University has offered me their Johnson Scholarship, leaving me to pay for books. Again, I have some miscellaneous scholarships that can offset that. Essentially, the price of either of these two colleges doesn't matter to me anymore.

Between these two colleges, I need to decide where to go. I know Washington & Lee is ranked higher than Lewis & Clark, but that's not a huge issue with me, because they're both fairly reputable. I'm looking for a place I'd enjoy. I was at W&L for the scholarship finals, but I haven't been to Lewis & Clark, so I'm having a hard time making an unbiased choice. Your thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

These are the things I'm considering when I'm debating between the two:
- I love the outdoors. I wouldn't dream of going to a college where there weren't awesome things to do outside.
- I'm a guy with long hair. It might seem silly to mention that, but I didn't see many guys with long hair when I was at the Johnson Scholarship Finals at W&L (although that certainly shouldn't influence my decision).
- I'm from the Midwest, which is probably why I'm a bit liberal.
- I'd be interested in studying the humanities, environmental science, or environmental policy.
- I absolutely want to participate in concert band or orchestra; however, I do not plan on majoring in music. I'm applying to LACs, not music schools.
- I'm a cross country and track athlete. If possible, I'd like to run for the school I go to, but I'd rather go to a school I'd be happier at and NOT run than vice versa.

Thank you, in advance, for your comments.
