Hello,
I've got a student who wants to major in Economics&International Relations and could attend Lewis&Clark, Western Washington University, or Humboldt (not a right fit for Humboldt)
I'd say L&C in a heartbeat but what's its reputation for economics compared to the others? If it came down to it which of these three would you recommend? L&C is often mentioned for Humanities or science, not social science. so if anyone can shed a light on this, I'd really appreciate it. Do you know anything about their respective grad school placement rate or job placement?
Thanks.

For economics PhD programs, look for schools that have good math and statistics offerings, and more math based intermediate economics and econometrics courses (look in the course catalog to see if these courses have math prerequisites beyond frosh calculus).
