lgbt climate in tallahassee

<p>hey guys, im moving to Tallahassee in the fall to attend FSU and i was wondering how the lgbt community was in Tallahassee and around campus. im moving from Orlando which is pretty open and i feel like im going to get a giant culture shock! lol any response is totally welcome!</p>

<p>FSU’s pretty much like anywhere else: you have those that are pro, those that are anti, and those that really don’t care either way. Pride Student Union is huge on campus, though. </p>

<p>FSU draws from the entire state, including more liberal Central and South Florida. That being said, the hinterlands outside of Tallahassee are probably more conservative than those of Central Florida. </p>

<p>Basically anywhere in the South gets pretty conservative once you’re more than 30-45 minutes away from a decent-sized city.</p>
