<p>How would you have felt if the OP had read, “I am in no way a racist, but I was reading recently about several of the colleges on my list and heard a lot about huge black populations. I’m just not sure that I would be comfortable with a huge population of blacks in my face all the time.”? Would that be a legitimate way of determining fit?</p>

<p>This has already been addressed- OP didn’t ask “can someone direst me towards some socially and politically conservative schools?” (a question that has been asked and answered very nicely on CC before). It’s not just what you say, it’s how you say it.</p>
<p>After a few relevant replies on the first page, this thread has focused more on the OP than on answering her questions, so I’m closing it. If anyone has additional input for the OP, they are welcome to do so via private message.</p>
