I know that Hillsdale isn’t the best place for lgbtq+ students, but I would prefer to hear from the students themselves about the way they’re treated at Hillsdale.
Is the school more tolerant than it sounds, just has a vaguely unfriendly atmosphere, or is it intense to the point that people actively out to get you/“convert you” to being straight?
Hillsdale is not friendly nor unfriendly towards LGBTQ people. Hillsdale is a place where you will get a chance to interact with opposing views, all in a respectful and engaging manner, in an environment that prepares you like no other for the real world. Nobody will try to convert you into anything.
Totally agree. My DD attends Hillsdale and has some LGTBQ friends. It isn’t an issue.
