<p>I've been accepted to UCSC for the fall 2010 term, and may be choosing it as my school to go to. I am the president of my highschool's GSA, so this is pretty important to me. I know that the campus is very liberal, but i would just like some feedback on what all of your experiences have been like or what you've seen of the LGBTQ community.

<p>I don’t think there is a place anywhere in the nation that caters itself to the LGBTQ crowd as much as UCSC does. I mean, I’ve even seen their own quit-smoking classes. They’ve got their own ‘center’ on campus that’s pretty big. The community is very prominent, and their issues are the subject of many a play, performance, or lecture.</p>
