Very disappointing that Wake adcoms would lie about decision letters.
It is very apparent that admits went first and wait list and denials went later.

I guess the same thing is happening to NYU

I am not sure that they are lying. Some people got accepted today. I think that some letters really just got lost. I doubt they would lie about when they sent letters. My friend got a rejection the same day I got an acceptance.

Yeah, I still have gotten nothing here in Chicago Illinois for me.

You can call now to get your decision if you want. I am sorry that you do not know yet, it must be nerve wracking! I hope the best for you.

I called their admissions office during lunch and they told me the decision over the phone. I was rejected. :(
Go ahead and call them. Maybe you’ll hear better news than I did.
When I got home from school there was STILL nothing from Wake in the mail. We live in north Texas.

Congratulations to everyone who made it. Good luck to all those still waiting.

I don’t think they lied; they HAVE to let you know by April 1 so you’ve got a month to decide. I’m wondering if some of the rejections and waitlists got lost in the mail because they were in regular-sized envelopes while the larger envelopes used for acceptances might have been sorted differently at the mail distribution center (not the mail distribution center on campus, but one of the USPS centers).

I’m sorry that that happened to y’all, though :(
