Most colleges, certainly the most prestigious ones, have Net Price Calculators (NPC) that permit you to predict, in rough terms, what your parents could be on the hook for. You may be pleasantly surprised when acceptance time comes around - or, you could be disappointed. But, there’s no reason to go into the process completely blindfolded.
