liberal arts colleges with criminal justice?

Does anyone know any liberal arts colleges with criminal justice besides Stonehill College?

St Anselm College in NH

Guilford College in N Carolina.
Also Carroll College in Waukesha, Wis--used to be classified LAC, now classified as a comprehensive college, due to expansion of nursing and addition of programs like criminal justice. Nice town and a very nice campus.

Alfred U, Union C

While CJ is a stand alone degree at many institutions, and it will often have it's own course numberins, it is an interdisciplinary degree made up pretty much of polisci and sociology and maybe some psychology thrown in for good measure.

Even if you can't find an LAC that specifically offers a CJ program you could create your own with a double major or a major/minor combo and get the same result.

If your long term goal is to be a police officer/investigator/special agent, you'd be better off majoring in IT, computer science, or accounting or at least get a minor in one of them. You'll stand out more in the applicant process.

Also try to get an internship (especially at a high profile agency or where you really want to work). They will really open doors for you in the LE world.

American University has a major in Justice and another major in Law and Society in the School of Public Affairs. They offer a LAC education and the justice major is a great major for criminal justice (my Intro to Systems of Justice prof is one of the top in the field). Definitely look into it!
