Liberal Arts, economics and international relations/ studies

Im already well informed about the publics and private universities good within the studies of economics and international relations/ studies. I'm looking for a list of liberal arts colleges known well for their economics and international relations/ studies education.

Base off princeton review one seems to be Macalester.

Carleton would also be one.

I think midd.

I’ll look into each

Beloit College?

Middlebury, Pomona, Claremont McKenna, & Occidental

Granted, those are some pretttty selective schools. Oxy not as much.

Definitely keep an eye on Macalester.

Yeah but Beloit seems to be a top school for study aboard, financial aid etc… Macalester is also a school I’m keeping an eye on, though I’m not sure how the school is with financial aid etc…

Kalamazoo is topnotch.

Bowdoin College is worth checking out.

Yeah I know about Kalamazoo College already, but not sure if I can apply to the college since part of my college experience will be for the first time not attending the same school as a relative… as I have done since K grade ( I know very long).
Will look into Bowdoin also.

I know it would be like applying to Stanford and Cornell, but what do one think of Swarthmore?

Haverford and Swarthmore (peace and conflict studies)

Claremont McKenna is top in the areas you’re looking at.

I believe Macalester meets full demonstrated need.

William & Mary is a great option.

Second Beloit, Macalester and Carleton

I will look into all, really surprise Macalester is being suggested often.

No opinions of Swarthmore?

George Washington University is a private school well known for major(s) I’ve mention, and was wondering if there are any LACS like George Washington University ( which is a school I plan to apply to).

I don’t think you will find any LACs like GWU–it is extremely urban and very impersonal. It has no campus and is located in the middle of a city. Not much of a campus community or undergrad experience, both of which are things that LACs pride themselves on.

The largest undergraduate international relations program in the country is the School of International Service at American. Unlike GW, it has a campus, and the undergraduate population is half the size. But the number of international relations majors is substantially larger than Swarthmore or Haverford’s entire student body.
