Liberal at Washington and Lee

I am by no means a blind follower when it comes to politics but I definitely have a liberal attitude. For example I am pro Obama, pro choice, against the Irag war, against torture and not a fan of capitalism as a form of government. None the less I love what I have heard about Washington and Lee. I have a strong interest in business and I find that Washington and Lee is one of the few small schools where I can pursue that goal. All in all I was wondering if I would have trouble integrating at Washington and Lee. I am not a preacher but I am compelled to argue if I think something I am told is wrong. Any responses would be helpful.

Thank you

No. Lots of people like to argue, for both sides. There are a lot more liberals here than are given credit. And a lot of people who like to argue. So it sounds like you'll be in good company.

No liberals allowed. W&L is for Conservatives.

w&l is not a school that favors activism or confrontation, so if you are going to be vocal and passionate, then it is not the place for you. or very soon you will find yourself alienated.
