"LIBERAL STUDIES" for PRE-MED Students

I have a strong desire to attend med school. However, it seems that LSP, the portion at NYU to which I have been accepted, will NOT permit me to take the required science courses until I enter CAS in Junior year. Is This true? I dont want to wait unti Junior year to start taking Bio, chem, phyiscs! wahhhhhhhhhh What will I be doing for my first 2 years anyway? Just wasting my time with classes that dont even interest me?

What classes do we choose from/are required to take for LSP? I mean is going to be pointless? I mean I wanna be a doctor, not some liberal, boring freak! IM NOT Liberal!

Thanks y'all for you help.

no, if you are pre-med you will be able to take science classes right away in LSP.

missamericanpie has a whole forum about it and i think she touches on pre-med in LSP, you should read up on it.

[Guidelines for Liberal Studies Pre-Health](http://ls.nyu.edu/object/guidelinesprehealth)

Key words: use your elective spaces for the pre-health curriculum.

You guys really need to read the NYU web pages…

thanks guys ill be doing that
