library reserves

how does one go about checking out a book that a professor put on reserve in powell? haha i haven't really ever been around powell so...lots of description of where exactly to go would be nice

Go to the second floor. Talk to one of the clerks at the check-out desk.

also getting the exact call number of the book would help them

(there’s a compute next to circulation for that)

yup… up the stairs to the right, reserve circulation desk. nice and quiet little area.
went there twice before i gave up and bought my books

Are all course readers available at the libraries? Thinking about just looking at the course reader to fill in for my notes for chem14 with lavelle cause his lecture notes is basically the whole course reader with the practice tests which are already online.

readers are not available at the library reserve

Try watching to his online lectures, or listening to his podcasts?

Or borrow your roomie’s, which is what I’m doing.

Study session?! ;D

study sessions have been useless in my case. i usu find that one person knows more tha nthe others… so i freq reject hte possibily unless im under the understanding that… if not an AIM convo FB messages or emaisl… that it might be futile.. or perhaps several visits the TA (aka God) for some prayers or inspiration etc
