<p>Does anyone know what the acceptance rates into library science and information programs are listed? I can't seem to find any information aside form the size of students in the programs. I'm specifically interested in schools on the East Coast.</p>
<p>Many programs never report their acceptance rates - this is true across fields - so the information that you seek may not even exist outside of the raw data records of the program itself. But the program themselves probably has data on how many they accepted vs. how many applied, so you can ask them. Truthfully, though, that information isn’t very useful, since their application rate may have nothing to do with whether or not you get accepted.</p>
