<p>Well since everyone else is asking, i have a chances question :p btw im only a junior now, just really depressed lately over a lot of Bs and midterms and so on and im worrying about college. so here we go:</p>

<p>White Male from good NJ public school
GPA: 3.725 uw 4.06 w</p>

<p>breakdown is something like this:
freshman 3.4 uw 3.55 w
sophomore 3.9 uw 4.2 w (APUS - 4)
junior 3.75 uw 4.2 w (AP Euro and AP Physics B)</p>

<p>those numbers arent exact but its something very similar to that. my school doesnt offer a whole lot of APs. my senior year will have 5 though...will look something like this:
AP Chem
AP English
AP Calc AB
AP Stat
AP Art History
Spanish 5
Honors economics</p>

<p>SATs: waiting for first results from Jan 28! got a 205 on PSAT
SAT II: US 740</p>

<p>ECs: Teachers assistant at synagogue judaica/hebrew school
Will be certified teacher after this year!
Honor and Service Society
International Affairs Club
Philosophy Club
Model UN
Bowling league captain
varsity volleyball
Peer Tutoring
Volunteer at library and Multiple Sclerosis Assosiation of America
Im applying for a congressional pageship this summer. If I don't get that, I wil intern in a state senator's office.</p>

<p>ya nothign really special, not any great leadership =( biggest committment is to my synagogue</p>

<p>i know no SAT scores yet, etc., but any idea of chances here for International Relations major?</p>

<p>whoops junior year GPA i think i calculated wrong...prolly more like 3.68 uw 4.08 weighted =(</p>

<p>grades this year are like:
AP Physics: B+
Honors Gvmt/Honors Conteporary History: B+
Precalc: A+
AP Euro: B+
Honors English III: B+
Spanish 4: A
Vietnam/Entrepeneurship: A</p>

<p>really hope i have a chance here...so depressed that im not getting As like last year even though im working so hard, teachers are just really challenging. hopefully i can pick it up next semester. at least its better than freshman year!</p>

<p>Looks pretty good, though of course SATs have a big influence on your admission.</p>

<p>i know SATs have a big weight. ill know soon. ill prolly retake like 2 or 3 times but i would hope at least 2100+</p>

<p>Keep up with all the ECs, but next year, try to gain some leadership positions in the ECs that are MOST appealing to you. Saying "I'm the treasurer of Spanish club" will look a lot better than "Member of Spanish club". That was just an example. You don't have to worry right now, you're still a junior and you have plenty of time.</p>
