@Rololo I dont think there was anything worth mentioning it was just a good way to get to know your school during the fair and the tour helped to explore the school especially because it is huge

@Rololo the most useful information I got was if you plan to study abroad, bring it up in your mandatory academic advising before you register for classes and start looking up syllabi in the country you want to go to asap. The other information that was useful was if you live in the on campus housing and you get caught torrenting, then you get in trouble with the university, not just housing. I don’t know how important that second bit is to anyone else but it was important to me so I included it.Besides that there wasn’t really anything groundbreaking.
As a sociology major getting a BA, what’s this requirement for a three quarter math series? Do all students have to do it, including transfers? I finished a semester of stats at my current cc. Do you have to do it?
For my CC (Saddleback), a Sociology major needs to take Math3A (analytical geometry & calculus) 5units AND Math 10 Intro to Statistics.

Strictly in terms of units, 2 3 unit semester classes are equal to 3 4 unit quarter classes.

Got the admission packet too. Came with a certificate of admission, some stickers, a letter saying you were admitted, the general admission contract, and a form for your parents if they want to join that UCI Parents program with a return envelope.
Has anyone not gotten their financial aid info yet ?
@BackNSchool83 a few of us got our financial aid info last week.
Also, what is everyone’s plans for getting to campus during school? Just looked up the parking permits and they are crazy expensive.
@atlashoney I’m planning on living on campus housing during my time at UCI. However, I think I will also need to get a parking permit even though I’m living on campus 
on top of that, i didn’t get any financial aid… so loans it is for me…
@E2DuhJ The resident permits were the most expensive! I can’t believe how expensive they make the permits.
@atlashoney I know right… colleges are literally sucking the money out of us even when we don’t have much haha…
