Life after rejection, where to apply?

what do u guys think about georgetown though. If i can pull the verbal scores to upper 600's...are my chances still EXTREMELY slim??

Nobody's chances at Georgetown are particularly good to begin with, it's quite a tough school to get into. Considering all your scores... yeah don't bet on it. Your chances are low, but by all means apply if it's a school you really like. Your rank is very good.

Bumpppppppppppppp

you seem only interested in prestige not in what school is a good fit for you.. and while you might end up being really successful at gtown or bc, there are lots of students out there who have better sats and better grades that will be more successul. unless you have some amazing life story that you will write about eloquently in your essay, you should probably look a little bit lower down. what about schools like colgate or hamilton? some of the uc schools (they are public but i dont see why you need private) are terrific but arent as hard to get into.. you could try uc irvine? fordham also is a great option, especially since you seem interested in jesuit schools in urban locales.
