<p>I was just wondering if anyone knows how UW grads generally compare with other schools graduates in terms of admission to graduate schools. Specifically, if anyone has any numbers for Economics PHD programs and Law Schools I would appreciate it.</p>

<p>I think the Econ dept staff can easily tell the avg number of their undergraduates who go to PhD. The stat on Law is tricky since law students usually come from many majors/schools and some apply after a few years of work. I am pretty sure someone in Madison is tracking these stats. Let's wait for Barrons to pull out his WISkipedia... :)</p>

<p>The econ dept has a newsletter where people post their post grad doings. I don't know if they keep a formal lst but they probably know which PhD programs many of them go to. Lots of grads prefer to stay instate for law--never have to take the bar exam.</p>
