How is your life as a transfer student at a four year university? After your 1-2+ yrs at a community college, how is the 4 year university treating you? Did you/do you find it hard to make friends or join clubs? Is the coursework transition from jc to 4 year rough? Are you happy you took the jc route and transferred or do you wish you went to a 4 year right out of high school to get the 4 year experience and be on your own, despite it no being your #1 choice school?

Nobody has good stories? C’mon, your making me regret choosing a jc over a few 4 years. I may just call up that 4 year and make my enrollment deposit!

What are your four year options? I chose a four year because I didn’t want to deal with transferring, and well it was more affordable in the end (great aid). Anyway, it depends if you think you are academically ready for a four year, most are more rigorous than a 2 year. If you think you can succeed at a four year, then I would just chose one, granted it must a “fit”. If not, do awesome at a 2 year and then transfer to your #1 choice. By then you should know exactly what you want to do, where you want to go, etc…

I guess given the chance, I would have gone to a 2 year first and then a 4 year. I would have done better and known exactly what I wanted to do.
