Life Beyond COW

Any students and parents would like to help me? Do you guys have the same problem as I do?

My parents are "secretly" ambivalent toward Wooster because it's a college that most people would respond, "what? where is that?" I have told them that it's a college known for its I.S., a college that is more known outside of Ohio, and known to professors. Apparently, that doesn't sway them to allow me to attend Wooster. It's hard because it's just something my parents can't see me going unless it's a brand name school like harvard, yale, mit, university of chicago, beijing university, university of hong kong, which all of my family members have been educated, taught, and held job positions at. (btw, i'm not forced to go to "well-known colleges" but it's a family tradition and it's something that is expected)

I know I can be successful in any undergrad college because I am confident in what I do. however, it's hard to tell my family and even friends.

So, my final question is: does anyone know where Wooster grads go to for graduate school? this is very important for me. I'm thinking about graduate school of Public Health.

Thank you

bump

lol?

at the accepted students day the school offered an lecture called "life after COW". Since it's through admissions I'd call them and ask for that information to share with you parents. I'm sure there are lots of stats to see.
