Life Science 1

What is this I keep hearing about LS 1 being so incredibly difficult? People have recommended I take LS 2,3, and 4 before LS 1 (you can do this, LS 2 only has Chem 14A as a req).. but never seem to explain why. I was considering taking LS 1 and LS 2 at the same time does this seem like a good/ok/bad idea?

taking LS1 and LS2 at the same time is like bending over and taking it up the ass

that might be one of the worst ideas ever. lol

I don't believe taking LS1 first or last matters. Either way, you still have a lot of memorization.

I'm taking LS1 now, and it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Just put in some good effort in learning the material. Also, try to get a good professor too; that could make all the difference.

i dont think most people are very interested in ecology and evolutionary bio, so it seems like a bunch of random useless information you will never use or need again in your life. thats probably what makes it "hard" because they just dont like the class.

i took LS4 and LS1 at the same time over the summer. it was pretty brutal but i survived with ok grades.

I would consider LS1 the easiest LS class

Taking LS1 and LS2 together is a really really bad idea
