Hi,

I am a high school junior currently, and I am going to start applying to college soon. I really want to go to either Berkeley, Columbia, or CalTech , and I want to major in either physics, physical chemistry, or biochemistry. I am just wondering if my grades/extracurricular activities are up to par for acceptance to those schools. I currently have a 4.0 unweighted GPA, 5.31 out of 6 weighted. I am ranked in the top 4 percent of my class. I got a 2220 on my SAT, and 760 on the biology sat subject test, 740 on sat math II. I am triple blocked in AP sciences this year, and the only AP science I have left to take is Physics C next year. I compete in science competitions such as UIL and other academic competitions like Octathalon. I am currently doing an internship at a oncological research lab. I plan to do another internship at a biochem lab this summer. I also pursue the photographic arts, my work has been recognized and awarded at high levels, and my portfolio is pretty big, although I have slowed down due to being busy with school. I have a decent amount of volunteer hours at clinics and schools, probably around 80 hours. So these are my statistics, so I am wondering based off of this information if any of you have an idea of whether I stand a chance of being admitted to any of these schools. If not, what should I try and improve on?

Thanks!
