Likelihood of USC

hey, im a white male junior in massachusetts

i go to a competitive school and have a rank in class of 7/301, and have been taking the hardest courseload as possible, while taking latin and spanish simultaneously

i have only taken one sat II, Chemistry, and i got a 640 on it
I will probably end up with about a 2100 on the SAT based on previous scores

my extracuricullars are good, having done drama for the last 2 years for long periods of time (even getting my letter in it... lol), while being involved in many clubs. This fall I did cross country, and will be in NHS by the spring.

I talked with my guidance counselor and she said that USC would be a reach school for me. Now i know i didn't give too much information, but I was wondering how likely it would be for me to get in there.

thanks for the help

Maybe things have changed in the three years since I took the test, but I thought you could only get a 1600 on the SAT?

Anyways, last year's class had a 3.9+ gpa and around a 1400 sat. Most of them also held very high leadership or founding positions in their extra curric.

If you really want to improve your chances of getting in, do as much community service as possible - start a community service organization in your high school as you can - cause SC is big on that.

Write an interesting essay, and don't sound snotty or spoiled. There is too much of that at SC already.

thanks for the advice chloe, any1 else have an opinion?
