<p>Has anyone received any likely letter from UCLA this year?</p>
<p>Nope I havent received anything. But I did receive an invite for a UCSB reception for top applicants. Does anyone know if ucla does the same thing?</p>
<p>Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think UCLA sends out “likely letters” per se. A Regent’s Scholarship invitation is a pretty good indicator of admittance, though.</p>
<p>They sent likely letters last year. The invitation to the scholarships came later.</p>
<p>i definitely got a likely letter last year, and it definitely only applies to engineers. and i definitely have a friend invited to the scholarship program, which is definitely not directly associated with admissions, and she got rejected. and i definitely have friends who were invited for regents, and they definitely all were accepted.</p>

<p>@schoolfees are you sure likelies came out before scholarship invitations? Regent invitations came out all the way back in last week of January</p>
