Likely letter or belated letter?

My son received a letter today dated January 6, 2009 in an envelope dated Feb 26, 2009. The letter starts as follows:

Dear xxxxx:

Thank you for the interest you have shown in Emory University by having your standardized test results sent to us. Your self-reported class performance and test scores indicate that you are probably the kind of student who has tradtionally enrolled at Emory and done well.

Anybody else got this kind of letter?

everyone gets this…timing is bizarre since you probably sent scores long ago, but yea…standard computer generated…sorry…

Could be a possible likely letter if they sent it that late. Last year, some applicants received likely letters around that time.

no, it’s the standard thing they send if your score is over a certain margin. automatic and computer-made.
sorry.
strange that they sent it this late, though, unless he just took a test or something.

yeah I didn’t get a likely letter lol.

I’m not so sure those are computer generated, I never got one but I am fairly sure that my scores are above Emory’s average range

I got this as well, so I don’t think it’s a likely, but I got it a long time ago.
