So Dartmouth obviously sends out a ton of likely letters.

I have also seen that they tend to send them out in waves starting in mid-February and ending in mid-March.

Several likely letter recipients have reported that they were able to log in to the class of 2014 page before receiving their letter.

If you cannot log in, does this definitely mean that you are not getting a letter?

xatuuatx: Dartmouth sends out a fairly large amount, but I wouldn’t say “a ton”. Maybe the athletic recruits + 10-15% of the accepted RD class. (The reason it seems so high is because CC’s historically are the very top of students, and thus represent an odd dynamic). As such, if you don’t receive a likely, I wouldn’t worry. But in answer to your question, no it does not. I know a student who received a likely and still cannot log onto the webpage.

Thank you! I understand that ton was a hyperbole. They do send out a very large number of likelies in relation to other schools, though!

@spunaugle: Thanks for the info.

I guess this means I can still keep my fingers crossed for a likely letter in the mail! ( : April isn’t that far away anyway. Sort of.
