I got a financial aid information letter in the mail from WashU, addressed to my parents. I applied ~3 weeks ago.
Should I consider this as a likely letter? Or do they mail these to everyone, even students being rejected/not considered?

If you applied three weeks ago, then you must have applied regular decision. All regular decision applicants received that info, they’ll probably send you more mail about the university as time goes by. It doesn’t mean you’ll get in. But good luck to you! I just got in early decision a few days ago, so I hope to see you there! :)

thanks and congratulations! hope to see you there in the fall :)

Yeah, its standard for everybody that applied
