Likely Letter

I was just wondering if Fordham sends out likely letters, and if yes, when are they sent out? has anyone received one?

I received one for early action, and from my research, it seems that they send them for regular decision too.

It seems this girl got one in early February. Word of caution: this thread is from 2008. Things change.

Strange timing on this one!

Today, I actually got an email telling me that I had been accepted and should expect an acceptance letter in April. I applied regular decision to Rose Hill if that helps you at all. Was totally out of the blue and wasn’t expecting to hear anything until April. They definitely do send them. Good luck!

Also received an e-mail today. No scholarship info was there - does this mean I didn’t get any?

Son got an admissions letter today also. Just an email. I believe Fin. Aid information will come in April.

Nice way to end the month :)

Congratulations to all who received good news!

Last year, my D applied RD to the RH campus. In early Feb, she received a letter telling her that she was going to be admitted and that the official letter with all of the enrollment material and financial info would come in late March. In late March, she received the big envelope which included a letter telling her that she received the NMSF scholarship.

Got my acceptance email today! :D

However, no info on financial aid. So I’ve contacted them. Hope to hear from them soon. I have a hunch that info will be available in April? I’m not sure though.

Thank you guys! and congratulations to all of you!!

My daughter was accepted by email today as well. It’s a very nice gesture, but with no info about scholarships it doesn’t move us ahead by much. (wow, is that grouchy? but she got another early acceptance a couple of days ago, and the FA package for that is in the mail now. In that case, she’ll know whether she can count on being able to go that school or not.)
