Recieved in Oklahoma on Friday

so connecting the dots..... carry the 9....

3 more business days should almost certainly be enough time for the letters to reach the west coast.

yea i really hope i get one!

Really? See, I was thinking they were strategically sending these letters to those of us afflicted with the bitter cold spell in order to entice us with their climate...

Those who have got their Likely letters, plz post ur Stats :)

oh and for those of you who asked earlier, they definitely don't need midyear reports before they send the letters because my counseling office sent reports on Friday and I got mine Thursday.
look through my old posts/threads if you want stats

A quick recap of the 6 letter recipients whose scores are easily available yields an average of 1550 (low of 1520 high of 1600) and the average of the 3 with ACT's listed is a 34.

HopesSilverLight, I got a letter too, and I felt exactly the same as you. On top of that, I also got deferred from Yale and was really getting depressed. I applied to so many schools at the last minute because I wasn't sure if I could get in any of them. My stats are ok, but not as good as others who received the letter:

SAT: 2280, Math 740(ugh), Verbal 790, Writing 750.
SAT IIs: Math 2c 790, Biology 770, Chemistry 760
ACT: 33
GPA: 4.6 or so, 4.0 unweighted
Rank: 1/164
From: Western KY

Anyone fron FL get a letter?

from NC: (a bit of an advantage, admittedly)

SAT: 700 M, 770 V, 750 W
Rank: 1/68
GPA: used to be 4.0 UW until an A-
Hispanic Female

Rank: My school doesn't rank
GPA: Last quarter was 4.48 weighted
SAT: 770 verbal, 720 math
NEW SAT: 800 verbal, 730 math, 710 writing (how did THAT happen? Writing is my passion, and I'm far better at writing than math.)
ACT: 34 (36 English, 36 reading, 31 math, 32 science)

Again, these stats aren't phenomenal by any means...! I'm not sure why they chose me instead of other hyperqualified candidates. Don't panic if you fall into that category...I'm still bewildered, and extremely positive that everyone's going to get in somewhere really great...

Anyone in CA receive a likely letter?

i've concluded that no one has, as no one even near CA has posted.

I was deferred from Yale as well. Crazy coincidence.
I really want a letter.
I'm from Michigan, btw.

Wow so many Yale deferees here. Heh i too was deferred from Yale.

Wow, that is really weird... O_o

im a harvard deferee.

I got into Yale but I got not Fin AId so Duke is now my first choice. I got so worried when I started reading this thread because I really need a scholarship but I live in LA so I guess I can wait a couple more days before completely breaking down :).

Juliet, I'm from FL and have not recieved one.

president's day today = no mail
