does anyone know if Yale is still sending out likely letters, or not? I'm asking because I recently got one from Cornell (3 days ago) and was wondering if that meant Ivy's were still sending them out. Maybe it was something particular to Cornell, i dunno!

Wait til March 29th. Don't hold out for a likely letter now. It would be counterintuitive of Yale to send out likely letters this close to March 29.

i think they're done with sending likely letters

It is hard to imagine that they would send likely letters out at this late date

If I recall correctly, the last ones were gone March 10.

sudaneya, can you stop bragging about your cornell likely letter? you've posted it at least five times already.

i'm sorry if you think i'm bragging-- i was certianly not trying to! in fact, i dont even WANT to go to cornell.. i have another school i got into that i've already decided i'm going to go to if i don't get into yale. i added the cornell anecdote because it's an ivy league school and i wanted to know if it meant all ivy league schools were still sending them in. there's really no need to be rude.

lol
i can understand sudaneya4ever's excitement yet empathize with KnightMair

I think you should readdress that cornell letter to me then sudaney! :)

Maybe the poster was just joking. Students mention their acceptances and likely letters all the time on these threads. I am sure there was no bragging intended. Congratulations again.
