I'm paralyzed by indecision about college.

An article in Time (referring to an article in Science) says that strangers are better at predicting what people will like/dislike than people themselves. Therefore, please vote on where I should attend college.

you would need to give more detailed information before someone can really tell you this. If we assume you could get into any of those colleges, we still dont know what kind of engineering you like and why. What are your plans after School. What type of weather you like, etc. This is something you should really ask your teachers, friends and parents.

i first read these two words and immediately thought u were actually paralyzed and in a wheel chair and were wondering how hard it is to get around columbia’s campus in a wheelchair

wow, I apply some same collges that you have on your list. However, I don’'t know the result for columbia yet,so I really have no idea where I should be going either. sigh.

Hi there! If you’re trying to decide between schools, the best thing to do is to go to their admitted student programs. These programs let you meet TONS of students, other admits, and get a taste of what life is like at that school. I strongly, strongly recommend it.

Narrow your list down to the universities that will best serve you academically, financially and professionally; then you can begin to compare “soft” aspects like social scenes.

before i say this, let me point out that i am extremely biased.

YOU SHOULD GO TO COLUMBIA!!!
Its academically I believe the best school on your list
It has a great campus… roll-out-of-bed-and-be-in-class-in-5-mins size
It is in new york city!
the core (im not sure if this applies to SEAS) is unbelievably awesome

if you are “paralyzed” with this decision as you say (it seems to be a pretty clear one to me)… then do the obvious thing and go visit.
