Likely Letters Please Post Your Stats

<p>i literally yell at the top of my voice.. "DARTMOUTH.. YES!" every ten minutes (at least whisper).. </p>

<p>i think i even mumble dartmouth when i'm sleeping..</p>

GPA: 95.5 uw, 97.5 w (we dont do gpa's out of 4.0)
Teacher recs: great (probably)
Counseler rec: dont know
EC's: History Club President, Model UN Club secretary, 1st trombone in Concert Band, Baseball CLub member, AP Scholar Award winner, independantly studied Chinese, political work (voter mobilization), and some other things i cant think of now.</p>

<p>i had a weaker-than-usual 1st semester. I was going to write a letter explaining the circumstances (there were some, I didn't just stop working), but it seems I didn't need to.</p>

<p>3.6 uw, 4.0 w (rank maybe 25-30/370, super-competitive public school)</p>

<p>SAT: 1530, SATII: 800, 740, 730
AP: span lang -5, span lit- 4, euro-5, english lang -5
taking 6 this year, plus TA-ing a spanish 2 class</p>

<p>no amazing ecs, though have had a job past 4 years, copyedit for paper, lots of work with my church, student gov. 4 years (officer this year)</p>

<p>Can't do much better than a 4.0...and a 34 ACT is better than a 1500.</p>

<p>when do you think Dartmouth will send out its last batch of likely letters? what do you think is the latest time they could (keeping in mind that April 1 is 3 weeks away, and as the days go by, and it makes less and less sense to inform us now, rather than April 1) I mean, for example, if you get a likely March 15 or something, what is the point of that? when you're hearing back in 2 weeks anyway lol</p>

<p>California. I guess the cool thing to do would be for me to shout out "NorCal" and have it hecka huge printed across the back of my back window, but there is this new movement to label the area "CenCal". Hmm...CenCal, probably the most boring part of the state minus Santa Barbara.</p>
